Front-end Developer

Job Description

Position is full-time & candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. Although the position is PRIMARILY REMOTE, candidates must reside in the greater Los Angeles area. Fluent written and spoken English communication skills are required.

Internet Development Services, a subsidiary of Breakdown Services Ltd, is looking for Front-end Engineers to build the next generation of products and services for Actors, Talent Agents, and Casting Directors. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Back End Engineers, Database Administrators, and QA Engineers to ship new features and product improvements to Actors Access, Breakdown Express, and other services used widely within the entertainment industry.

Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of recent Front-end Developer work experience and provide a portfolio link showing samples of work.

Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+, Node.js, React, Redux, Webpack, etc.)

Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, including responsive web design and pre-processors such as LESS and Sass

Experience consuming RESTful web services and interacting with third-party APIs

Familiarity with back end technologies (we use Lucee and SQL Server)

An eye for great design and building highly usable interfaces

Proficiency with Git Experience working on an Agile team and with project management software such as JIRA

Desire to learn new technologies and trends in web.

Experience building compositional / functional components for reusability.

Able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
