Brings business and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both. Investigates and analyzes complex problems and/or requirements from a business perspective and designs solutions that align to the business goals, and remains within technical guardrails.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative, but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.]
• Works closely with IT and business leaders to prioritize business goals and information needs.
• Interprets a project and the business requirements, evaluates all the options and works with developers/architects to understand software limitations.
• Examines existing/new business models and flows of data and discusses findings with the business owner/BA and technical team as applicable.
• Mentors peers with best practices and expertise.
• Applies expertise in designing the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Applies expertise in the design of, and migration to, new platforms.
• Writes/refines user stories that translate the business requirements into a consumable piece of work for developers to code against and QA to test from. Provides artifacts such as wireframes, data flows, etc. to support that effort.
• Oversees the creation of technical user stories.
• Creates and contributes to user manuals.
• Delivers mined data models with entities and attributes used by existing system(s).
• Creates appropriate data dictionary.
• Oversees data migration mapping.
• Delivers both functional and non-functional requirements (business rules).
• Creates wire frames, story boards and work flow models.
• Regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Four (4) year bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience. MBA preferred
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of web development and/or system analysis. Three (3) years of agile / scrum team experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong knowledge of data analysis using SQL, ER diagrams and other tools.
• Demonstrated experience in learning new technologies quickly.
• Expertise mocking up user interface requirements using prototyping.
• Strong software development background.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
