Your Mission

You will be asked to participate in the development of new game mechanics, or the improvement of existing features on mobile platforms (iOS and Android). This work will be done in close collaboration with various internal departments (design, script, animation, vfx, etc.) as well as various collaborators in our partner studios at Activision.

Finally, you will conduct a technological watch of video game technologies (programming language, emerging gameplay, new working methods, etc.).

More specifically, as a senior, you will have to:
• Act as a mentor and become a resource person for your colleagues;
• Make your team shine thanks to your expertise;
• Be able to navigate the unknown: you will tackle sophisticated problems and you will find solutions adapted to the needs of the studio and its projects;
• Demonstrate a credible professional maturity, a desire to surpass oneself and show resourcefulness to improve existing technologies.

Your objectives
• Develop quality game mechanics with creative teams;
• Adapt existing game mechanics for new supports (touch screen, etc.);
• Technically analyze requests from different departments;
• Implement game features in C/C++;
• Ensure support of functionalities developed with users;
• Fix bugs that occur during production;
• Share knowledge within the team so that members develop skills;
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments to optimize production pipelines.

Player Profile
• Proven experience in PC, console, or mobile development;
• Participation in the complete production of at least two video game projects;
• Proficiency in C/C++ ;
• In-depth knowledge of mathematics (linear and vector algebra);
• Knowledge of several styles of games;
• Curiosity to discover different game technologies and systems;
• Positive demeanor and good adaptability;
• Strong French and/or English, spoken and written;
• Passionate about video games.

Bonus Points
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or other game engines;
• Knowledge of mechanical physics;
• Real-time embedded system development.
