Job Description
We are looking for Technical Copy Coordinators to join our team supporting Bally Sports, Sinclair's Regional Sports Networks.

As one of the largest, most diversified television broadcasting companies in the country, we continuously look to embrace new digital opportunities and challenge ourselves to defy expectations of what a broadcaster can do. Recently, we strategically acquired 23 Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) and we are looking for team members to join us in integrating this new and important piece of our business that will expand our range of content across the country and extend our multi-platform expansion opportunities.

You will ensure Engineering teams receive materials and execute on Copy instructions. You will maintain and track data trends around Sponsored Elements and as run files. You will work within multiple systems to maintain workflows and continuity across the business. You will be responsible for interfacing with advertising agencies and sales departments to ensure proper commercial material has been received and scheduled via client specifications. You provide immeasurable value to our team as a key player in obtaining a significant portion of ad revenue.

Responsibilities:
Operations, Collaboration & Partnerships
• Collaborate with business and recon teams to review and resolve issues on billing files
• Review missing materials in playout system and ensure correct materials are obtained and run
• Troubleshoot automated workflows
• Resolve as run issues with vendors and clients
• Track and report on analytical data trends
• Maintain log of outstanding issues, root causes and resolution plans
• Ability to work with remote servers and critically think through issues
• Understand basic scripting language
• Send playlist files to Master Control
• Maintain Sponsored Elements/Features for all regions
• Ensure maintenance of systems in an orderly, standardized, and documented fashion to ensure there is a backup plan in the event of your absence
• Verify receipt of traffic instructions for upcoming media buys with emphasis on working ahead to allow adequate time to research missing items
• Maintain and organize regional traffic inboxes on a daily basis
• Enter instructions in the linear traffic system while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Review Missing Copy Instructions Report and secure outstanding Copy needs
• Maintain an orderly filing system
• Demonstrate excellent customer service approach with internal Traffic personnel, sales teams, vendors, and clients
• Provide daily dub lists to On-Air/Master Control and a monthly purge list
• Ensure that daily Copy checkbacks procedures are followed
• Provide back-up when other team members are out of the office
• Other duties to be assigned as necessary

Performance Improvement
• Track operations, review data and continuously look for process and workflow efficiencies
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities to unlock new possibilities through adoption of new technologies, automation, and digitalization
• Raise ideas to Copy management as they occur

Qualifications:
• A.A. degree or 60 hours of college credits toward a BA/BS degree in Communications, Radio/TV, or related field preferred
• Experience in broadcast television traffic and knowledge of sports preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
• Basic understanding of Scripting Languages (VBA, Bash, Python, JavaScript)
• Attention to detail
• Able to adhere to daily deadlines
