Motion Graphics Designer

Job Description

Bally Sports Network is seeking a Motion Designer to join its Major League Design team servicing all of Sinclair's sports properties including 19 Regional Sports Networks, Marquee Sports Network, and Tennis Channel.

The Motion Designer, under the Art Director's supervision will create and execute graphics for use in live and studio productions. Duties include creating and maintaining graphic elements for live sports events, remote and studio productions, promotion, and sales. It's a fast-paced and growth-oriented position where you'll have new creative challenges to tackle daily. This role will be a key part of the design team. T his is a full-time position & currently remote.

• Keep managers up to date on the progress and development of projects.
• Keep the team informed on innovations in motion design for live sports and socials.
• Be part of the discussion from the start of each project, rather than only owning the post- production aspect

Your Skills:
• 2-4 years' experience working in a broadcast design and motion graphics
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Experience using Redshift with Cinema 4D is required.
• Must be highly proficient in rendering passes and compositing/ from C4D to AE
• Experience in designing style-frames
• Experience in sports television preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrate the tact, diplomacy, decisiveness, and superior people skills required in the pressurized environment of live television.

Must have EXCEPTIONAL portfolio of motion design work

Education:

Bachelor's degree is required. Motion Graphics Design or Computer Animation major is highly preferred.
