Job Description

We are looking for an analytical, creative, experienced business and product executive who can begin to build efforts to take Bally Sports+ into the future and develop an offering for the streamer of tomorrow while evaluating and launching initiatives that keep the service in the epicenter of the sports zeitgeist. The role will require building and executing upon a business case for new offerings that not only drive further subscriber acquisition and engagement, but also shape the platform as a home for culturally relevant, premium sports content.

Head of Sports Culture and Product Content Experience
• Use competitive, customer research, behavior, usage and consumption data to build business cases and a Go-to-Market roadmap for an offering(s) that drives engagement with current and future, more digitally and socially native streamers. Offering can include anything from exclusive content, product features, commerce capabilities and more
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver on goals and execution
• Demonstrated ability to understand and both discuss technical and business development concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
• Experience understanding and executing on content distribution and affiliate distribution deals
• Serve as organization's subject matter expert on new innovations in sports content, media and marketing
• Pursue opportunities to further expand and unite the Bally Sports community- these may include initiatives that drive cultural relevance, incremental revenue and further centralize products and services associated with fandom e.g. ecommerce
• Partner across internal and external teams to capitalize from a marketing and business perspective on daily shifts in sports culture
• Develop partnerships with athletes, journalists and other sports personalities whom through marketing and social partnership can drive cultural relevance and engagement with product
• Model and propose pricing and packaging of these products and lead all go-to-market execution
• Work cross functionally and collaboratively across all teams to exceed goals

Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years overall experience
• MBA preferred
• Experience working on Product, Strategy, Marketing or more than one in digital video and/or sports media
• Experience in using data and analytics for decision making
• Passion for the digital media landscape
• Adept at liaising with multiple stakeholders and thrive in matrix environments
• Clear point of view on the future of sports distribution platforms and wants to lead the charge innovating the industry

The base salary compensation range for this role is $250,000 to $280,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
