ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Production Manager to join our Tokyo based content team. The role will manage end to end production and delivery of premium audio content from our studios.

Key job responsibilities
As the Production Manager you will...
• Work with studios and creative partners to support the production pipeline, ensuring deadlines are met
• Support efficient processes for slate management with an emphasis on monitoring approvals and committed spend
• Oversee freelance fact-checking, copyediting, cover design and all elements of the editorial process
• Find opportunities to expand studios network, consider new vendors and partners and manage vendor set up. Liaise with vendors and production partners for quotes and track spend against budgets
• Manage and maintain a database of creators, narrators and directors and manage talent throughout the production process

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in content with talent, creators and studios
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, and work independently
• Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities and work under deadline
• Willing to conduct manual tasks to organize all data regarding production
• Ability to organize information in excel and other relevant tool
• Able to read basic English documents

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with a literary publication, magazine, website or publishing business
• Ability to communicate with English is a nice to have – if you do not, there is training support at Audible to increase your English skills
