About Amazon Music

The Digital Music Catalog and Selection Excellence (CASE) team is responsible for generating content for Amazon's various digital music services. Our goal is to build metadata, technologies and processes that create distinctive products for our customers.
We are seeking a Manager of Program Management to lead a small team of Catalog Specialists for our metadata supply chain to help build a scalable QA model to support our growing customer and catalog needs. A key part of this role would be growth and management of our metadata catalogs and workflows along with operations planning where the individual will dive deep and forecast ops requirements and processes across Amazon Music teams on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. The Program Manager will then work with the core and flex digital operations teams to work on delivering against the operational forecast. Key activities include:
• Manage a small team of Catalog Specialists executing metadata programs supporting various Voice and GUI CX's.
• Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, create SOPs, and operate through obstacles to achieve program objectives
• Create reporting and dashboards for critical metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on weekly/monthly basis.
• Work cross functionally with the product management, engineering, frontend client teams, operations and program teams to document and define initiatives and drive them through execution.
• Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of partner teams in an ever-changing business environment.
• Prepare strategic recommendations, roadmaps, and program updates to senior management for the organization.
• Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for servicing our partners.
• Make recommendations that balance short team needs against the long-term business benefit.
• Balance competing and conflicting priorities across teams and escalate effectively when needed to advocate for the needs of the organization or customers, even if it may seem uncomfortable.

If you love music and want to be a part of the Digital Music revolution – this is the place to start!
