About Amazon Music
We are looking for an experienced Paid Social Marketing Manager to join our Amazon Music Performance Marketing team and drive WW customer acquisition through new and emerging social channels including TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, and more. This person will partner cross-functionally with colleagues and external vendor representatives to scope, design, implement, and assess business-moving new channel opportunities. This employee is a passionate user of TikTok who prides themselves on staying up on the latest viral trends while astutely identifying areas for customer acquisition and growth. This person is deeply analytical, balancing a strong quantitative and creative mindset. This marketer will be passionate about measuring ROI and connecting the dots between platform-level metrics and backend conversion metrics.
Key job responsibilities
• Own performance marketing exploration and testing across TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat and other developing social platforms
• Own hands-on campaign execution for Amazon Music on new channels across 12+ worldwide markets
• Test aggressively in search of new areas of opportunity to scale campaigns (e.g. bidding, creative, ad copy and landing page testing) to achieve spend efficiency and volume targets. Partner with local teams to define the testing roadmap
• RFP and identify creative agency partners for campaign asset production
• Partner with brand and artist marketing teams to identify content opportunities and cross-org marketing synergies for TikTok growth marketing strategy
• Own weekly reporting and data-sharing with key stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support GTM plans for upcoming product launches and promotional offers
• Develop new strategies to drive increased acquisition through Amazon Music Unlimited, Amazon Music Prime and Amazon Music Free
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building, executing and scaling paid social performance marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• 1+ years of professional TikTok advertising experience
• Deep knowledge of TikTok, Reddit, and Snapchat consumer platforms as an avid personal user
• Passion for music and pop culture, with an understanding of how each are engaged with on different social platforms
• 3+ years of experience managing multi-million-dollar annual advertising budgets
• Experience joining and cleaning data for use in measuring impact and determining campaign improvements
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data. Fluent in pivot tables, vlookups, and nested IF formulas
• 2+ years' experience with data visualization/analysis tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Amazon QuickSight
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years in Paid Social managing direct response or acquisition marketing campaigns with an international scope for a direct-to-consumer subscription service or in the media & entertainment industry
• Experience running campaigns on at least three paid social channels such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest, or TikTok
• Moderate to advanced in SQL, Python, and/or VBA
• Demonstrated high level leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills to drive recommendations. Ability to articulate tradeoffs, explain complex issues and communicate plans to stakeholders up and down the org chart
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate. Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities
