Your Mission

Welcome to Activision Mobile! We're a new in-house studio, dedicated to developing the best AAA mobile games in the world. Our first project is a new AAA mobile title in the Call of Duty franchise. We're looking for talent from mobile, console and PC backgrounds passionate about their work, who share our belief in what AAA experiences on mobile can and should be. Your Profile

The Sr. Creative Director is tasked with managing the design and execution of all internal and external-facing marketing materials, in-game UI visuals, as well as elevating both the visual quality of the franchise overall and the conceptual integration of marketing seasons into game execution.

With innovative creative strategy, the Sr. Creative Director will ensure Call of Duty Mobile's marketing initiatives will be both visually compelling as well as optimized for performance resulting in product identity that is competitive and fresh in the mobile market. The role will embody the player first mentality delivering assets across influencer, social, UA, and prod marketing, and helping the team achieve its goals.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with market segment / channel leads to develop visual and creative assets for use across mobile marketing - UA, Influencers, Competitive Initiatives, Product Marketing, and other channels as needed
• Provide visual /creative direction & guidance across all mobile titles to improve quality, consistency and communicative value of visual elements, including content, UI and general ''feel''
• Own & facilitate visual elements and UX/UI in both Activision Mobile Studio and multiple internal partner studios on in-development mobile titles
• Lead Activision Mobile branding, including development of visual vocabulary and general mobile-specific style guidelines for both Activision Mobile Studios, mobile products, and general Activision mobile presence
• Lead & facilitate visual style and execution of internal and external presentations of Activision Mobile Studio's product
• Ensure quality results by driving highly effective creative briefs, taking into consideration target audience, positioning, pure aesthetic refinements as well as historical performance
• Optimize creative across all channels and provide constructive ideation against critical metrics, using data (and using/driving tools, metadata constructs or other initiatives) as needed
• Review and improve asset pipeline for both cost efficiency and quality, developing strategic plans for where to index into each
• Source and test new contractors and vendors on a cadence to stay competitive and engaged with market trends
• Map out when to apply internal vs. external resources based on understanding individual skills relative to asks
• Optimize creative pipelines and processes to improve workflow among teams
• Maintain library of all creative assets developed
• Lead a team of internal and external resources to deliver on quality and on time
• Foster, maintain and expand relationships with brand and central marketing teams to ensure efficient and aligned creative strategy and execution

Requirements for success:
• Passion for evocative and compelling visuals that drive player behaviors
• 5 years experience- leading internal and external art teams
• Strong understanding of how UA and other marketing assets are consumed by players, including images, trailers, in-game promotions and UX visual elements
• Outstanding ability to develop and use consistent visual languages and messaging
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent shifts in focus
• Works cooperatively and with respect across a broad group of leaders and contributors from a variety of subject areas
• Extensive experience with visual tools ranging from Powerpoint to 3-D modeling to video/trailer creation software
• Strong critical-thinking, organization, time management and leadership skills
• Game industry experience a strong plus
