Title: Senior Director, Commercial Strategy and Development

Reports To: Global Revenue Officer

Basic Function: The Sr Director of Commercial Strategy and Development will be responsible for leading the development of commercial business strategies in support of improving the value of the Activision and Blizzard games businesses globally. Working with the Global Revenue Officer and regional business leaders, this individual will own the development of commercial strategies, execution planning, and long range planning, while sharing standard methodologies between game teams and regions to facilitate rapid iteration of ideas and projects. Working with the regional business development/partnership teams, this leader will also work across to coordinate and improve global and local partnerships in-region, with a. focus on driving demand for our games and in-game revenue streams, on identifying new growth opportunities, and on working with partners to de-risk our journey in such growth opportunities by leverage their databases on potential players and player behaviors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner with GRO on long term global commercial strategy and business development across PC and Console for Activision and Blizzard titles,
• Develop a global/local model supporting King business over time, and align with King leadership on a phased test-and-learn approach as we assess the value of local King commercial talent in-region
• Work closely with regional commercial leaders in APAC, LATAM and EMEA to define, track, and triage local KPIs
• Identify gaps between our global commercial strategies and the market readiness for that strategy within the publishing and business unit organizations
• Identify new business opportunities to improve our ability to deliver revenue across PC and Console
• Service as a point of coordination across the various ABK partnerships teams to ensure we are consistent and aligned when we are shopping and pitching opportunities
• Work closely with global partnership team and regional business leaders to ensure partnership objectives align to overall commercial direction, including technical and business requirements
• Work with internal collaborators (including publishing, digital commerce, studios, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure existing and new plans align with broader company strategies
• Represent GRO in any meetings/leadership discussions where vital
• Develop business plans and commercial KPIs and metrics against any new initiatives and report progress to GRO
• Give to Annual Operating Plans and Long Range Plans across all Activision and Blizzard franchises
• Participate in long term organizational design, mentor team members across the commercial org, and chip in to driving diversity by broadening slate of candidates we interview for each role to target inclusion of at least 50% ethnic minority/women candidates
• Develop internal and external presentations where vital
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required

Requirements
• Demonstrated ability (8+ years) developing strategy and plans for revenue growth
• Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational, sophisticated programs or projects
• Proven successes working with executive clients and thoughtfully guiding sophisticated decisions
• Demonstrated ability to function well in a matrixed organization and thrive in a multifaceted industry, business and technical environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners throughout the organization
• Ability to lead and influence without explicit authority
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
• Comfortable presenting and communicating to large groups and across all levels of the organization in an effective, situationally appropriate, clear, and high-quality manner
• Ability to work independently and deliver results with little supervision
• Detail- and results-oriented; driven and self-motivated with strong initiative
• Excellent organization and time leadership skills; ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects
