Your Mission

As a Lead, you will help craft the vision for the architecture of the products, the tools, and the team itself. You will be responsible for making this vision a reality and contribute both directly and through other members of the team. This is a phenomenal opportunity to be part of a driven and passionate engineering team that defines and crafts our player's experience.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Drive the architecture, implementation and support of products and processes
• Implement, debug and optimize major systems in C/C++ and other languages in the context of a large cross platform codebase
• Spearhead development of innovative gameplay experiences
• Directly partner with engineers to help grow their technical skills in support of their career objectives
• Collaborate across the studio, within the larger ATVI ecosystem, and with external teams

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience working in the game industry
• Shipped AAA titles or similar on a major platform
• Expert level C++, supported by solid scripting skills in Python, Lua, C# or other
• Demonstrated ability to build and support growth targets for subordinates
• Able to own long term technical vision, with advocacy and refinement.

Bonus Experience:
• Experience with full-stack development and GAAS
• Shipped titles on multiple platforms
• Unreal Engine experience

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $121,500.00 - $224,880.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the US and is not applicable to locations outside of the US Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
