Coordinator, Distribution - Hulu/ Ph

Job Description

The ABC News Editing/Video Operations team is hiring a Distribution Coordinator on a long term project basis. This position assists in distribution of ABC News long form video content to digital platforms and clients.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with production teams and post production facilities on deliverable requirements
• Coordinate closed captioning of long form videos (use of Avid Media Composer required)
• Organize media assets for projects:
• • Receive files from post production facilities
• Adhere to specific naming conventions
• Organize assets for delivery & archive
• Transfer files to end distribution points via Aspera:
• • Distribution points may include Hulu, D+, ABC, or international partners

Basic Qualifications:
• Avid, Interplay experience required
• Knowledge of different video formats and frame rates
• Basic knowledge of video transcoding
• Minimum 2 years of relative experience (strong internship experience considered)

Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree preferred
