The Job

WaterTower Music is the in-house record label for Warner Bros. and Warner Media releasing the soundtracks and scores for a variety of productions including theatrical, television, and streaming. In this position the intern will be involved in many projects assisting the label from start to finish in the release process.

The Daily
• Assist in metadata upkeep and ingestion
• Audit information in the label's distribution portal
• Pull and format weekly streaming reports
• Participate and take notes during label meetings
• Create and upload YouTube videos to the label's channel
• Write copy for social media posts
• Create requested playlists at Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, Apple Music

The Essentials
• The applicant must be comfortable working virtually and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and file sharing platforms (Box, Dropbox, etc.)
• Must have a sold understanding of metadata and its role in the music business
• Must be able to multitask- work with multiple team members on separate projects
• Must be able to work with and maintain confidential data and information

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program
