Summer 2022 F&A Intern (Hybrid)

The Job

This position is for an internship as a Financial Analyst or Staff Accountant. The internship will span 10 weeks throughout the summer of 2022. The intern will be placed in a Financial Analyst or Staff Accountant supporting our Global Legacy Turner, HBO, or Warner Bros. divisions.

The Daily:
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses for management to make informed decisions.
• Build, foster, and maintain good working relationships with members of the F&A organization and key stakeholders.
• Exemplifies the values and expectations of a Financial Analyst or Staff Accountant at WarnerMedia, which include a high level of executive presence, professionalism, ethical standards, integrity, and credibility.
• Pays close attention to detail and understands written and oral instructions.
• Organizes and schedules work effectively.
• Demonstrates desire and ability to apply new concepts, skills, abilities and behaviors to everyday job with coaching from Manager.
• Can multi-task and work well under time constraints.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment with ongoing change.
• Works independently and meet deadlines.

The Essentials:
• Enrolled in a college degree program with a focus on Finance & Accounting studies
• Ability to solve complex problems while leveraging team members
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Good communication (verbal and written) skills.
• High emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, data analysis, and process innovation.

Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th; must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Hybrid ATL, NY and LA
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
