Job Description
The Job:

The Data Analyst Intern will work closely with our Manager of Data Strategy and be a driving force in creating useful analysis and reporting within the Estimating/Modeling team. By understanding the needs of Media Research leaders and building reporting or creating analyses to meet those needs, the Data Analyst Intern will help teams such as program acquisitions, strategic scheduling, estimating/modelling, ad sales spend less time finding data and more time acting on insights gleaned from our data.

The Daily:
• Build and maintain reporting in our core business intelligence platform (Looker)
• Create, maintain, and QC data to filter, transform, and produce clean data sets
• Provide strategic data support to the estimating/modeling team in addition to other internal stakeholders
• Debug and troubleshoot issues that may arise in various tools used to support the Estimating team (Snowflake, SQL Server, Looker, PowerBI)

The Essentials:
• Experience with SQL and using it to query, transform, and analyze data
• Experience working with business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Azure, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus
• Python/R/other programming skills are a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Problem solver with a sense of urgency

Internship Program:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th; must be available for full program duration (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system).
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
