Information Security Intern, Corporate – Fall 202

This Fall Internship is from September through December and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours a week, Monday through Friday (flexible depending on school schedule).

Department Description:

Information Security manages overall information security risks posed to the company. The department provides multiple services across all lines of business: Information Security & Risk Management, Incident Response Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Third Party Risk Management, Information Governance, Privacy, Training and Awareness, Compliance and Metrics, and Security Architecture & Engineering.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will work alongside the information security teams as well as team members from information technology, legal, and various business groups to support information security, risk, governance, privacy, and training & awareness programs. The candidate will be involved in data collection and analysis, conducting risk assessments, reporting on compliance, preparing presentations, as well as assisting in preparing procedures and guidelines. The candidate will be involved in the preparations and implementation of Cyber Security Month programs.

Qualifications:
• Well-developed interpersonal communication, oral, written and presentation skills); the ability to disseminate information in a clear, professional manner
• Use of Microsoft Office products including Visio, Project, Teams, and SharePoint
• Ability to prepare systems and process documentation with the use of flow charts and narration
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Background in information security and/or information governance
