Job Description

Tennis Channel has an opening for a Fall 2022 Production Intern! The selected intern will have the opportunity to gain real-world production experience and learn different areas of the department such as content, remote studio, and social/digital . If you have an interest in Production and Digital Media and a willingness to learn, are studying journalism, communications, or a related field and want to experience the world of broadcast media firsthand in a live sports environment, then this is the place to learn! This paid internship opportunity is located in Santa Monica, CA.

What to Expect:
• No day is the same. If you excel in an active, fast-moving environment and have the drive to learn the many different areas of live Sports production, this position is perfect for you .
• You will work with content executives, producers and editors and have a firsthand look into the world of live broadcast operations, scheduling, and logistics.
• You will receive training in various areas and learn from the live linear production operations team including how to execute studio and remote operations and the planning that goes into it.
• Experience what goes into live production shoots.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Must be attending an accredited college or university or is a recent college graduate
• Willing to work approximately 15 hours a week for 10 weeks, beginning in September 2022 **There may be a variety in hours since we are a 24 hour broadcast network showing domestic and international tennis matches **
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work from our Santa Monica, CA location
