Software Engineering Intern

PlayStation is now hiring forward-thinking, hardworking, and talented interns for the vacant position of Software Engineering Intern. Our ideal candidate is hardworking and passionate about this field.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to one of these projects:
• Test automation for high-speed networking fabric
• Linux video streaming server
• General server-side software
• Kernel driver development
• Configure, build and deploy containers
• Android app and/or framework development
• Collaborate with other team members and potentially other companies.
• Document the work.

Qualifications:
• Good programming skills in at least two of these languages: Python, C, C++, Rust, Java, etc.
• Eager to learn new technology and new programming language
• Team player, enjoys collaboration but also able to work independently
• General understanding of Linux
• Proven understanding in at least one of these areas: server-side software, containers, video streaming, kernel development, test automation, Android development
