Responsibilities
Opportunities may include (but are not limited to):

Global Security Operations: The NBCUniversal Global Response and Intelligence Center (GRIC), located at NBCUniversal headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Center, New York, NY, is a 24x7 incident response center, managing and coordinating crisis response on behalf of NBCUniversal assets worldwide, including NBC News, NBC Sports Group, Universal Productions and Telemundo. The GRIC is comprised of a Director, Manager, Regional Intelligence Analysts and 24x7 Operations Officers monitoring worldwide incidents. The intern will be supporting operations by entering NBCU event locations data, along with other pertinent information into our security systems. The intern will be supporting the GRIC Manager by updating and maintaining the D3 security database.

Qualifications/Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

Additional Job Requirements

Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.

Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful, etc.
• Hard working, meticulous with great attention to detail, collaborative, hands-on, inquisitive, quick learner, and sharp communications (written and verbal)
• Adept at handling a varying workload and high volume of information and data.
• Highly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with standard office computer and web applications (Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
