Job Description
ResponsibilitiesNBCUniversal Local is NBCUniversal's local media division that delivers English and Spanish-speakers and bilingual audiences in 31 US markets and Puerto Rico, the very best in local sports, news, weather, consumer and investigative reporting, and lifestyle entertainment across any platform and screen. NBCUniversal Local is comprised of three individual media groups including the NBC Owned Television Stations, the NBC Sports Regional Networks and the Telemundo Station Group. NBCUniversal Local's stations and networks serve diverse audiences and communities across linear, streaming, OTT, digital web, mobile and audio, and cable platforms and work together to keep local audiences informed anytime and anywhere.
Opportunities may include (but are not limited to):
Bilingual Interactive Designer
Work in collaboration with Sales, Creative and Production teams across NBC and Telemundo Owned Television Stations (OTS) to develop rich digital campaigns, arming the sales force with the right tools to delight advertising partners.
Bilingual Storyteller (Creative Writer)
Work in collaboration with Sales, Creative and Production teams across NBC and Telemundo Owned Television Stations (OTS) to assess program objectives, brainstorm ideas to develop clear, compelling, 360-degree content strategy plans that align with client goals.
Digital Innovation
Assist in many projects and will edit text on screen videos, provide research assistance for producers and actively pitch ideas for videos. Must be able to use Adobe Premiere and have a strong passion for video editing and content creation. Experience with Adobe After Effects a plus. We look for a self-starter that loves to pitch ideas, wants to learn various forms of storytelling and is willing to pitch in on any project.
Digital- Product Management
As a part of the product team, you will gain hands-on experience taking on the role of a product manager. Product management is a diverse discipline that touches the worlds of design, engineering, business development, and organizational management. As a Product Management intern, you could collaborate with User Experience and Product designers to ideate features for new or existing products based on user testing and research that you can lead with the guidance of other product managers, delve deep into our analytics to spot trends and opportunities for growth, and much more.
Digital Multimedia
Are you a visual storyteller? Do you dream of pushing the boundary on how stories are told online? Do you have experience working on interactive projects that combine photos, videos, graphics and other media elements? We are looking for a multimedia intern who can creatively tell stories using all of these elements across all of our digital platforms -- so if you answered ''yes'' to those questions, then we are looking for you! This intern will be part of a national content team and will collaborate with team members to create original content and promote the best content from our markets.

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
Desired Characteristics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Proficient in HTML5 (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
• Proficient in Photoshop & Illustrator
• Strong Adobe CC/CS skills
• Animation of motion graphics experience with After Effects or similar software
• UX Experience
• Design tools such as Sketch and Figma
• Visual design experience
• Illustration experience
• Strong interest in the media industry
• Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
• Ability to multitask and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous internship experience within a corporate setting
• Passion for digital advertising
