Job Description
Responsibilities
The Entertainment Group develops and schedules the network's primetime, late-night, and daytime entertainment programming, including USA, SYFY, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids. NBC's quality programs and balanced line-up have earned the network critical acclaim, numerous awards and ratings success, including most recently winning the traditional September-to-May season in primetime's key demo, marking the network's third win in four years. NBC has earned more Emmy Awards than any network in television history.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Production & Development: Analyze scripts and write coverage, create talent lists and production schedules, transcribe handwritten script notes, manage incoming material logs for all content received, create and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including high-level executives, provide administrative and desk coverage support as needed
• Casting: Maintain internal talent database, curate daily casting news from trades, create grids for upcoming theater/comedy events and film festivals, compile ongoing list of upcoming TV premiere dates, learn essential casting software (Breakdown Express, CasIt, IMDb, etc), become familiar with the casting process for NBCUniversal scripted shows (read scripts, see breakdowns, etc.)
• Advertising & Program Standards: Review scripted, unscripted, and live entertainment programming to ensure content is compliant with internal and external standards. Review all advertisements that air on various networks to ensure compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

Additional Job Requirements
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
