Job Description

Baseball Operations Systems Intern:

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Baseball Systems team is dedicated to building the full-stack applications, data infrastructure, and device integrations that support analysis, scouting, player evaluation, and player development for a championship baseball team. We look for people who want to blend their analytical and problem-solving skills with their love for baseball, and who want to see their work reflected on the field and in the box score.

Position Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience with web (especially JavaScript) and/or scripting (especially Python) programming languages.
• Experience with SQL querying.
• Effective time management
• Superb organization skills
• Ability to multitask

Baseball Operations Intern:

Position Skills & Qualifications:
• Knowledge of media archiving a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Baseball knowledge a plus
• Understanding and ability to maintain the confidentiality of personnel files
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Program Requirements:
• Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
• Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 12-week program (May-August).
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Passionate about working for a professional sports team.
• Proactive and out of the box thinking.
