The Job

The HBO Content Planning & Scheduling team are content experts who are knowledgeable and passionate about our programming and viewers. We've elevated our renowned series, the depth of our theatrical inventory, bold Latino and international programming, and award-winning shorts across both the HBO & Cinemax brands, linear channels, on-demand platforms, HBO Max and more. The Summer intern would aid in managing metadata for HBO linear and nonlinear platforms, including HBO MAX. Support Senior manager and staff with creation of curation materials for original programming planning. Intern will also screen theatricals for appropriate placement on linear and nonlinear, curatorial metadata information and daytime playability.

The Daily
• Screen theatricals for content sensitivity and appropriate channel placement
• Maintain Airtable Inventory
• Assist with collections creation and stunting trackers
• Assist with proofing and finalizing schedules
• Liaise with cross-partner teams to help communicate scheduling priorities

The Essentials
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, Google Suite (Air Table preferred)
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Extensive Film/TV knowledge
• Enthusiastic team player
• Strong curiosity for scheduling process
• Savvy with streaming platforms
• Knowledge of HBO content

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
