Epic Games is searching for a highly skilled Technical Character Art intern to join the Special Projects team and push the limits of real-time technology. You will be joining a tightly knit team of veterans from film and games to create pioneering real-time work and drive the quality bar within Epic and throughout the industry. In This Role You Will
• Create, assemble and maintain state-of-the-art real-time characters in UE5
• Work with Unreal Engine's MetaHumans for real-time and linear cinematic content
• Collaborate with multiple teams from character artists, to animators, to technical artists

What We're Looking For
• Portfolio showcasing artistic and technical aptitude
• Knowledge of character workflow including modeling, texturing, rigging and animation
• Experience integrating characters in Unreal Engine
• Skilled in 3D content creation programs like Maya, Zbrush.
• Highly motivated individual with a passion for problem solving
• Basic python scripting is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
