Strategic Marketing Intern - Fortnite Creative

Epic's Fortnite Creative Marketing Team is looking for a smart and inspiring Marketing Intern to join them in 2023. This team identifies growth opportunities and challenges in partnership with Marketing, Publishing, and Creative teams to develop campaign strategies to guide actionable marketing efforts for Fortnite Creative. The Team works closely with Fortnite Creators and their UGC content. The team also partners with Data Analytics and the Paid Media teams to articulate and measure impact of marketing and engagement activities.

In This Role You Will
• Build cohesive brand strategies and go-to-market plans in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders
• Initiate and leverage new consumer insights studies, competitive landscaping and creator trends to develop marketing activations geared toward both the player and creator communities
• Create marketing roadmaps for individual marketing activations; identifying key milestones and holding the team responsible for its progress
• Assist with the development of all marketing campaign assets
• Synthesize consumer trends and market dynamics to influence business decisions and campaign development
• Define and analyze marketing KPIs to determine the success of marketing campaigns
• Perform post-mortem analyses after key milestones

What We're Looking For
• Current MBA student preferred
• Understanding of the duel-sided marketplace Fortnite offers and how to market to the different segments (EG Battle Royale vs Creative mode)
• Knowledge and passion for industries like Games, Media & Entertainment, and Consumer Technology
• Experience in brand strategy & development, brand insights, brand management or related fields
• Intrinsically motivated, proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally and at all levels within the organization.
• Experience working with data analytics to inform decision making.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
