The Job
Editorial Operations in Atlanta is responsible for 6 hours of dayside programming from Monday-Friday and 10-12 hours of programming on Saturday and Sunday. The team consists of 140 staffers - Executive Producers, Senior Producers, Producers, Copy Editors, Bookers, Writer/Producers, Associate Producers Become part of a show team.

The Daily
• Assist with research, editing, writing, package producing, guest booking.
• Learn from seasoned producers, writers, associate producers and other staff.
• Gain insight to the workings of a newsroom and resources that provide news from around the world.
• Understand the process of generating a story idea and getting it to air.

The Essentials
• Eagerness to learn.
• Desire to understand the CNN story telling process.
• Willingness to take instruction and direction for daily assignments.

​Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
