Summer Intern - DC Daily

The Job
CNN+ DC produces multiple daily live daily shows on the new platform. We are trying out new ways to deliver a quality news product. Interns will assist producers at all levels in research, production needs (graphics, tapes, etc), field shoots, and more.

The Daily

While every day is different, interns will learn the basics of video and graphic production to assist associate producers find the best visuals for the show.

Interns will be assigned to a specific show to learn the foundations of daily show production. They will assist producers throughout the process and support other DC shows as needed. They will also assist with any research and writing as needed.

• Strong understanding of current events with a specialized focus on politics and international affairs.
• Video or graphic production skills
• Creative ideas
• Strong writing skills

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
