Job Description:

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Director of Production to oversee the daily production of on air promotion, interstitials, ad sales marketing, affiliate marketing, and consumer marketing projects for the MGM Domestic Channels networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign and track all projects
  • Work with in house producers, the QC department, and outside vendors to ensure all materials meet on time deliveries
  • Work with post production coordinator and edit staff to plan assets usage
  • Create production calendar and mile markers for media requests, program schedule due dates, and acquired programming materials
  • Collaborate on budgeting for projects
  • Route invoices
  • Maintain annual budgets
  • Oversee post production schedules
  • Track ad sales marketing projects
  • Set agenda and prep materials for creative review meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with an emphasis on Film/Television, Communications, or Marketing preferred
  • 5 years of on air promotions or television post production experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and writing skills
  • Experience using Asana (a plus, but not required)
  • Experience using On Air Pro (a plus, but not required)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
