Job Description:

The Independent Film & Television Alliance, the global trade association of independent motion picture distribution and production companies, is seeking a qualified Executive Assistant who will report to the President & CEO.
 
Position Responsibilities (include but not limited to)Administrative support for the President & CEOPrepare documents, reports and expense reportsMaintain detailed and organized electronic and paper filesSchedule appointments, meetings and conference calls for President & CEO and senior staffAssist with special events and projects as assignedInternational Travel Arrangements: Book and manage international travel for all company executives, anticipating requirements based on industry event calendarsAdvocacy Support: In support of IFTA’s public policy agenda, conduct online research on industry and related policy topics as assigned, in coordination with IFTA’s Research and Legal Departments, as well as outside consultantsMember Outreach: Support the Communications team in developing and producing creative assets/templates for effective member communications and social media messages from or involving the President & CEOTeam Support: As assigned, provide support to other departments to assist in achieving IFTA’s overall objectivesIdeal candidate will be interested in the business of international film distribution and have prior experience working in an organization focused on the international marketplace.

Job Requirements:

Preferred & Required Qualifications4+ years of experience assisting high-level executivesBachelor’s degree requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to exercise high judgement and maintain composure in fast-paced, high-stress situationsStrong computer skills and expert knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability and interest to learn new online publishing and database software quicklyMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyHigh degree of discretion and confidentiality requiredAbility to provide excellent customer service and work well in a team environmentExcellent organizational, prioritization and time management skillsForeign language(s) preferred
