Job Description:

The American Film Market (AFM), the world’s largest motion picture trade show, is seeking an experienced and energetic member of our event team.
 
Responsibilities – include but not limited to
 Process and track exhibitor orders and invoices through proprietary online databaseUpdate online Exhibitor List and liaise with website coordinator to facilitate changes and updates to the exhibitor log-in section of the websiteSupport and liaise with other team members in the Exhibitor Services department (furniture & equipment, badges, screenings)Maintain an organized filing system for the departmentOversee Exhibitor Check-in onsite including management and training of temp staffAssist in proofing signage ordersProvide customer service support to exhibitorsProviding administrative support for the Director, Exhibitor Services

Job Requirements:

Qualifications/Skills
 4+ years relevant experience; administrative and/or event relatedPossess sharp attention to detail; diligent, proactive, accountable and analyticalAble to multi-task and set priorities in a fast paced environmentAble to work independently and as part of a teamQuick learner of new technologies, tools, and processesDisplay a high level of customer service with an excellent phone demeanorProficient in: Word, Excel, Outlook Effective communication skills; confident working with Members, clients, vendors, and all levels of internal staff in a friendly, positive and service-oriented mannerExceptional organizational skills; self-motivated, comfortable with shifting priorities, ability to initiate, schedule and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlinesExperienced in and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
This is a Seasonal Position: Mid-May through mid-November. Position is based in the Westwood office until mid-October, then onsite in Santa Monica for three weeks of the show. Extended hours may be required during show days. The Coordinator reports to the Director, Exhibitor Services.
