Job Description:

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (“MGM”) is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for its Television Finance group who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task in a growing finance department.

Responsibilities:

•Perform analysis and provide insights for a range of financial planning deliverables to Senior Management that includes monthly operating reviews, quarterly forecasts, and budget / long range plan
•Develop a deep understanding of television output deals while reviewing, analyzing, and tracking the deals on a monthly basis
•Work cross-functionally with the Sales Distribution and Sales Operations teams to gather inputs and understand risks and opportunities to accurately forecast revenues
•Reconcile financial results, identifying key drivers of performance, and timing variances in the forecast
•Load actuals and projections in television database
•Review accounting month end actuals to ensure accuracy

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, economics, or other quantitative field
•At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
•Prior experience in TV and Film industry preferred
•Knowledge of SAP and Essbase preferred
•Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting / financial software
•Understanding of entertainment accounting, content distribution, and international markets a plus
•Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
•A strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail
