Job Description:

The Social and Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development of social media content for MGM domestic television and digital networks including, but not limited to, Comet, Charge, Light TV, MGM HD and IMPACT. 

Responsibilities:

• Work independently to generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
• Create content calendar to coincide with regular publishing schedule to ensure timeliness and organization
• Assist in developing creative content for social media platforms
• Coordinate  with 3rd party partners on social advertising campaigns for all relevant platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
• Set specific objectives and analytical reporting on ROI
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor viewer reviews / feedback
• Liaise with other MGM departments to ensure cross promotional synergies
• Perform research on current benchmark trends, competitors, and audience preferences
• Research and relay new social media tactics, trends, and strategies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in marketing, film/television, English/writing, graphic design
• Strong creative writing skills with emphasis in marketing and advertising 
• Strong knowledge of film and the history of film 
• Experience in social media marketing or creative
• Must be familiar with social media platforms & tactics with an emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Vine & YouTube
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software with an emphasis in Photoshop preferred
