Job Description:

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (“MGM”) is seeking a dynamic financial analyst to join the Television Planning group. This position will support the department and assist in all planning activities including, preparation of greenlight models for acquisitions, monthly operating reviews, quarterly reforecasts and the long range plan. 

Responsibilities include:
• Run greenlight models on content acquisition deals and track performance of acquired titles
• Update output deals with actuals and forecasts based on inputs from sales and contract services team
• Consolidate and report digital, pay-per-view, and video-on-demand revenues on a monthly basis • Track performance of newly released titles
• Load worldwide distribution and television sales data in Essbase
• Investigate, validate and reconcile discrepancies
• Extract data from financial systems (SAP and IPM) and reconcile with planning database 
• Ad hoc projects as assigned 

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting 
• Strong computer skills required– must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint 
• Experience with Essbase and SAP highly preferred 
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 
• Able to work effectively with all levels of management 
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are of the highest importance 
• Able to set priorities and work independently
